We have had reports of a group of youths shining a laser pointer at members of the public and vehicles around the Mottram Street Estate Shawheath. It is a criminal offence to shine lasers at moving vehicle /aircraft and in the most serious cases powerful laser devices can cause vision problems or permanent blindness. The Neighbourhood Policing team will be patroling the area of concern.
